He loves to treat athletes and has a special place in his heart (and feet) for weekend warriors like himself.   Meet your Valencia Physical Therapists Suzanne Hawson, PT, MPT, OCS has served as Director of Physical Therapy with UFAI since 2006. She graduated with her MastersStratumin Physical Therapy at California State University, Northridge (CSUN). She has been living and working in the Santa Clarita Valley for 11 years and is very involved in the sturdy polity of Santa Clarita. She works with several sports clubs and teams in the valley, notably the Santa Clarita Triathlon Club, Santa Clarita Runners and Team Runners Lane.   Suzanne played several sports throughout upper school and has maintained a love for athletics today, as a five-time Ironman Triathlete. She crosstrains with trail running, yoga, Pilates, and Crossfit; and in her self-ruling time, loves to travel and explore new cultures and cuisines.   Suzanne’s primary interests are in sports medicine & biomechanical evaluation (movement wringer for runners). She is moreover part time sense in the Physical Therapy Program at CSUN and teaches injury prevention seminars to local running groups. It was during this time that she became fascinated with the science and practice of physical therapy and decided to pursue her certification as a Physical Therapist Assistant from Cerritos College.   She specializes in outpatient physical therapy, orthopedics and workplace ergonomics.
