I tabbed Dr. Franson's office as soon as I came when home. The office staff was unconfined and got me right in. Dr Franson was wondrous and took unconfined superintendency of my unravel throughout the next few months. He is unchangingly so pleasant and was very thorough and professional, explaining everything in a simple, understandable manner. Any questions or concerns were patiently alleviated. A few times I had to undeniability the office when with questions, and they unchangingly tabbed me when with the answers from Dr. Franson, and a few times he himself called. In doing online research well-nigh my vaguely diagnosed pain I read an vendible written by Dr. Baravarian that addressed and explained my somewhat uncommon condition and the treatment options that may goody me.Withoutspending so much time feeling like there was nothing I could do to resolve my problem I finally have not only answers, but hope! Although I haven't seen Dr. Baravarian yet, I am grateful for the insight he has provided, and I am confident that he will be worldly-wise to help me!  Now I just need to navigate my insurance company's complicated and restrictive provisions to see him; I won't trust the superintendency of my feet with anyone else!Amber S.University Foot andToddleInstitute5.0"Dr. Bob" is amazing.  I destroyed my tibia in a Pilon fracture a year ago and was having serious difficulty recovering.  No value of PT would help, so I ended up seeing a sports medicine doc, who referred me to Dr. Baravarian.   I came in for a consult, he took some x-rays (in his office), and told me my toddle was a mess.  He scheduled surgery right away, and cleaned out scar tissue that had worked during my recovery from the emergency procedure.  The procedure (and recovery) were relatively painless, and now I'm making progress, with the help of the UFAI's tying one-liner physical therapy department. He runs a tight ship and has unconfined people working in the office - no showing up for your visit and waiting for an hour to see the doc, plane late in the day.  He has a unconfined bedside manner (you can tell that he genuinely cares well-nigh his patients), is unconfined with followup, and has very reasonable prices for those items not covered by insurance. I can't recommend him enough.  If you've got a messed up foot/ankle, go see Dr. Bob.  You'll come yonder (at the very least) largest educated well-nigh your problem, and in a largest frame of mind than when you went in.Dave F.University Foot andToddleInstitute5.0Awesome!Gayle H.University Foot andToddleInstitute5.0So far everything is going well. I really like Dr. Baravarian and his staff, they did a wonderful job. They are very understanding and professional at the same time. My family and I are very happy and thankful we found you guys, and we are definitely recommending your services to everybody. Thank you then for making me finger at peace at the time of my surgery. I'm so happy with Dr. Baravarian that I will requite him 5 stars in any reviews that I can.Jeanette D.University Foot andToddleInstitute5.0My feet have been killing me for the past two months and I put off getting it checked out. I finally came to see Dr. Briskin and I regret nothing! My visit time was mostly kept and he found the problem right away. Dr Briskin is very easy to talk to and answers questions readily.Cynthia S.When I compare the surgery result and treatment at the Foot andToddleInstitute with the treatment at other offices, I am amazed. I was so happy with my surgery result and that I had Dr. Baravarian fix the foot that was washed-up by flipside doctor. This place is awesome.M. G.University Foot andToddleInstitute5.0The therapists are very knowledgeable. It was nice to see how they all helped out where needed. If someone started something, but was rented when a treatment ended, then someone else would finish up. A nice team effort.Hunter M.University Foot andToddleInstitute5.0Dr. Baravarian is a pro. Knows his stuff, and wanted to get to the root of the problem. Glad he is the one that operated on me. The staff nurses at St Johns were very professional and kind. Well done!Dana M.University Foot andToddleInstitute5.0You guys are 3 for 3 on surgeries for me. Thanks so much!Paige K.University Foot andToddleInstitute5.0Dr. Bob is excellent. He recommended a very inobtrusive treatment, and was very knowledgeable and thorough. I am very pleased to have him as my doctor.William S.University Foot andToddleInstitute5.0Dr. Baravarian got me when running when no other Dr. could. I can't thank him enough! Everyone in the office is so nice, I highly recommend them!Christie D.University Foot andToddleInstitute5.0What a unconfined medical experience. They were running early and I saw Dr. Baravarian within 5 minutes.  A very upper tech operation, and a unconfined bed side manner.John K.University Foot andToddleInstitute5.0It's been five months since my surgery, performed by Dr. Sydney Yau, and I've been walking with no pain. Dr. Yau tried to fix my problem with no surgery, and when that was unsuccessful, we decided on surgery and he was always, and is still, concerned with how I am doing. A couple hours without my surgery, Dr. Yau tabbed to make sure I was doing okay and tabbed the pursuit day as well. The staff has unchangingly been kind and caring to me, and are well organized - I whimsically overly have any wait time at all in his office. I highly recommend Dr. Yau to anyone with foot or toddle problems. You will be well cared for and will "walk away" without any problems!Sandie E.University Foot andToddleInstitute5.0Dr. Franson and the unshortened staff at University Foot &ToddleInstitute - Valencia are awesome!! I highly, highly recommend Dr. Franson to everyone, he is the BEST!!Helena O.University Foot andToddleInstitute5.0Everything well-nigh the office was clean, efficient and professional.Ronald G.University Foot andToddleInstitute5.0Two years ago I went to Dr. Bob looking for expert translating on what to do well-nigh my feet!  It was the weightier thing I could have overly done.  Now, two years later, without Lapidus Bunionectomies on both feet, I am feeling extremely grateful that I found the right man for the job.  I recommend him to all my friends with foot problems, and I believe he's the weightier in the west.  Thank you, Dr. Bob :)Barbara P.University Foot andToddleInstitute5.0Enjoyed getting the left foot bunion washed-up so much (LOL), I went when and had the bunion on my right foot removed on Sept.28 ! This recovery has been plane faster than on the left foot as we religiously (thanks to my wife) iced it for 15 minutes (then off for 30 minutes) unceasingly every day for the first week!!!Flipsideincredible job by Dr. Franson! Thanks so much!!Duane D.I just wanted to tell you how grateful I am for everything you have washed-up for me. You have truly happy me in increasingly ways than one.LillyUniversity Foot andToddleInstitute5.0Very happy with unshortened staff. They are efficient when booking the visit and getting you into the office. The staff in the office were awesome. The nurse was wondrous and very helpful. Took her time to explain things. The doctor made sure I understood what was wrong. He showed me pictures to explain it and had a unconfined demeanor. They put me at ease and it was really nice.Debbie K.University Foot andToddleInstitute5.0I had been dealing with heel pain for far too long and went to seek treatment from University Foot and Ankle. Within three weeks my pain decreased for the first time in four years. No drugs, no surgery and no BS from the doctor. I am very happy with my results and wonder why I did not go earlier. Live and learn.Greg A.University Foot andToddleInstitute5.0Dr. Yau was worldly-wise to diagnose my issue during my first visit with him, something that other doctors hadn't washed-up without several visits and tests.AnonymousUniversity Foot andToddleInstitute5.0I tapped my foot while working on a mucosa production. They will help you "get when on your feet".I.S.University Foot andToddleInstitute5.0I have been suffering for a long time with pain in my toes. Thank you for giving me my life back!Amanda W.University Foot andToddleInstitute5.0Like many, my husband is a archetype car buff. I undeniability it archetype car nuts! Well one nice day we're going through some car stuff in the garage and BAM!! A steel car rim falls on my foot. Yes, the pain was excruciating! I ended up at the UFAI in Valencia and in walks the weightier of the best, Dr. Yau. Dr Yau was wonderful. Everyone in the office was wonderfully kind and efficient. Dr Yau put the pieces when together, I had a shattered large toe. It took a few uneaten pins to hold the wreck together for a bit longer than the stereotype 20 yr old. Yes, I'm in what they undeniability golden years ( I undeniability it rusty years). But today I'm pain free, I didn't lose my toe and I'm grateful to have met and had as my doctor the weightier of the best, wonderful Dr. Yau. Thank you, Dr. Yau!Irma G.University Foot andToddleInstitute5.0I had tendon surgery well-nigh 2 years ago at Kaiser and it was the worst wits of my life...Dr. Baravarian is a vapor of fresh air! Finally!  A doctor who cares and really seems to superintendency well-nigh your recovery! His unshortened office is nothing but kind and cooperative - and I was lucky to have received the referral to his office.  Thanks Dr. B!Mz P.University Foot andToddleInstitute5.0I was treated by Dr. Franson last summer without waking up to a debilitating toddle pain. I had been to several doctors in the weeks leading up to Dr. Franson's office visit with no real diagnosis or treatment. Dr. Franson and his staff were patient and ruminative in assessing my pain source. Within weeks of my first office visit and PT sessions with their spanking-new on site physcial therapy, I was seeing major improvements. Dr. Franson went the uneaten mile to not only diagnosis my issue, but to get overdue what has caused the problem. He ordered orthotics and spent months tweaking and adjusting until we got it just right. I can say 6 months later, I have been worldly-wise to resume all my sports activities and daily routines with a stronger foot & ankle, and no signs of pain. Thank you!Ecole L.University Foot andToddleInstitute5.0Everyone is amazing.Susan H.University Foot andToddleInstitute5.0I highly recommend Dr. Baravarian at UFAI.  After months dealing with flipside doctor and getting no results (and a really painful cortisone shot), I was finally diagnosed correctly and had a successful surgery.  I found Dr. Bob professional and friendly AND he was unchangingly quick to reply to my emails when I had questions.  I have been in the waiting room MANY times the past three months and have not waited increasingly than 15 minutes past my visit time (though usually going in sooner).  I found the staff to be friendly and helpful with everything from tint removal to processing powerlessness paperwork. Also, the folks in their physical therapy department are STELLAR!!  Friendly, thorough and on it -- they unprotected a slight multiplicity that I had (no fault of the surgery) which really saved me.  I cannot recommend them highly unbearable (and I've had my share of PT) There were some issues with the billing department but I alimony really good records so once I talked to them and compared notes, they were quickly worldly-wise to well-spoken everything up to my satisfaction.Mari W.University Foot andToddleInstitute5.0Very helpful that my doctor plays hockey since I had a hockey injury!Kristina W.University Foot andToddleInstitute5.0Great doctor, and unconfined technicians and office assistants.Susan C.University Foot andToddleInstitute5.0Love Dr. Briskin! He was so reassuring and helpful. I had a pretty bad unravel years ago, and now I'm having complications. Dr. Franson found the problem and gave me answers within days! Office staff is very easy to work with and helpful. I would moreover recommend his partner They are both great! If you need a second opinion in this specialty I highly recommend University Foot andToddleInstitute!!Ayla S.University Foot andToddleInstitute5.0I am 4 weeks post surgery now and just got my tint off today. Dr. Franson is the BEST foot specialist I have overly been to. He is extremely kind, he's caring and compassionate. He truly cares well-nigh his patients and has a fantastic bedside manner, but whilom all of that, he is an extremely talented surgeon. I was so wondering well-nigh having this surgery, due to all of the horror stories I had read well-nigh others who have had the same Achilles' tendon surgery with other doctors. I finger very fortunate to have found Dr. Franson, considering so far it's been a walkover compared to others. His staff is unconfined as well. They are all very friendly, caring and professional. The wait is never long, and I unchangingly finger that he spends an towardly value of time with me answering all of my questions. I have never written a review well-nigh a doctor before, but I truly believe Dr. Franson deserves one. I highly recommend Dr. Franson and University Foot &ToddleInstitute!Kathleen C.University Foot andToddleInstitute5.0Dr. Bob is fantastic! He is such a caring, attentive, professional doctor who unchangingly walks into the room with a smile. I had 2 separate experiences that he treated me for. The first one was last summer when he diagnosed tendonitis and plantar fasciitis on my left foot. I had a lot of discomfort prior. I went through their PT office for 3 months and wore a marching twosome the first month. He preferred I order custom orthotics for my workout shoes and I had several follow-up visits during the 3 months it took me to heal. The 2nd time was this past January. I began to wits variegated symptoms on my left foot and toddle once again. He diagnosed Tarsal Tunnel. I went through some increasingly PT and wore a marching twosome for the first month. It took me a little longer to heal this time and I followed up with increasingly appointments as he suggested. I appreciated Dr.'s translating on the brands of shoes which he thought weightier for me to buy. I moreover like the fact the he never pushed surgery. He was very quick to respond to any emails I sent him, too. If in the future I have any increasingly foot or toddle problems, Dr Bob will be the first person I see! His superintendency is top notch and he really looks out for your long-term well-being.Patty G.University Foot andToddleInstitute5.0Excellent - this was a follow-up to receive and fit orthotics.Linda N.I came to University Foot andToddleInstitute without stuff misdiagnosed by flipside doctor. I am a runner and foot pain was making plane the shortest walks difficult and painful. Everyone at the office is very nice and Dr. Bob is awesome. They took a quick x-ray, right there in the office, and he diagnosed me with a unorthodoxy spur and ordered custom orthotics. I was very skeptical that the thin inserts would really help, my foot was really hurting! But thankfully I was very wrong. I immediately noticed a difference. I AM NOW PAIN FREE! I wish I would've come here sooner! Grocery shopping meant icing my feet afterwards. I had been to 3 other podiatrists, had 4 sets of custom orthotics, a night splint boot, cortisone shots, bands, creams - you name it. I was told the only option was surgery on both my feet. Dr. Franson wanted to try flipside cortisone shot, increasingly pliable orthotics and physical therapy every 3 days for several weeks. It took several months for my pain to go yonder completely, but it sooner did and I got my life when thanks to Dr. Franson and wondrous PT Suzanne Hawson. Not only was the superintendency very detailed, thorough, and well-judged - but Dr. Morris and the staff's vein and personalities are veritably fantastic.  Very personable and I unquestionably looked forward to my follow up visit (well, as much as one can!).   Dr. Morris then recommended me to a unconfined local family doctor, as I was having trouble finding one that was unsuspicious new patients as I'm new to Santa Barbara.  Lastly, I randomly ran into the nurse outside in town several weeks later, and she not only remembered my name, but asked me specifically well-nigh my foot and recalled exactly what my specimen was.  Wow! Thank you.SurfWithTUniversity Foot andToddleInstitute5.0I had a unconfined wits with Dr. Bob Baravarian and staff at the Sherman Oaks location and at the 90210 Surgery Center. I unchangingly found the staff and nurses  to be courteous and helpful. I have had plantars  flacilitis for 10 years and was getting no relief from other doctors and their treatments. Dr. Bob suggested various things to stave surgery, but I needed it in the end. He and the staff well-considered us on the least expensive way to have the surgery. I am 5 days post surgery and have had veritably no pain whatsoever. The surgery part-way tabbed several times to trammels on me and were so nice.  I would highly recommend Dr Bob and the surgery centers for any foot  pain. !Lori S.University Foot andToddleInstitute5.0After 15 years of surgery fear and bad big toe joints I could whimsically walk for increasingly than 10 minutes. I have visited many Dr.s but was not well-appointed until met Dr. Bob Baravarian 2 years ago in Sherman Oaks.  At 62, I needed a RT toe fusion due to damaged joint, so we scheduled surgery and now healed. Surgery went smooth, quick w/ no pain and minimal scarring. I was extremely pleased as months later I started running then until my LT big toe started stuff painful with spurs. I scheduled my second visit with Dr. Bob in Santa Monica , a surgery later with positive results of cleaning out the toe joint and therapy, I have full toe whoopee then with no pain and squint forward to running real soon. With the exception of the X-ray tech in SO, all the staffing at both locations are very friendly, professional and help full. Thank you.Manuel S.University Foot andToddleInstitute5.0I am so surprised by the negative reviews over insurance billing.  Everyone hates insurance companies and I consider myself lucky when insurance follows through and gets it right! If there is an issue with my insurance coverage. I segregate a doctor for their intelligence and knowledge and if I get better, and this is what I am going to write well-nigh considering it was great. I came when from a hiking vacation with an inflamed Achilles tendon, it just came out of the blue, friggen weird. So I went here and saw Dr. Bob at UFAI, where I had been one other time with a variegated issue.  The first thing he told me is there were four options that I could unquestionably segregate from. The first was PT to strengthen the leg and hope that treatment helps in the hopes of lamister surgery. Covered by insurance, btw. The second was PRP, where they do something with my thoroughbred and re-inject it into the zone to help it heal, kind of upper tech but not covered by insurance so I decided to wait on that option.  The third was surgery, and that was not going to happen and lastly do nothing, and that was not an option either. I liked having choices and understanding the risks and I chose PT. Their PT folks are unconfined and I learned things I wish I knew surpassing hiking, but it wound up not helping, which sucked, but the odds were not on my side for that one but I chose it. We then tried the PRP injection which is really upper tech stuff, non surgical and I got to wear this odd looking marching which was tomfool virtually Halloween as I told the kids I was trying to wilt a Transformer but was only worldly-wise to get my leg to change. Kind of a "make lemonade" moment. :) I had two of these injections and it unquestionably brought the swelling and pain down, ptl. So no surgery. I did not think it hurt as much as someone else said, but I got numbed up pretty good for sure! I had to pay for what my insurance did not pay, which they told me well-nigh up front and it seemed like a pearly value and weightier of all I wound up lamister surgery.   And I am keeping the marching for the next time i do something stupid to my feet and I know I will go when there without a second thought. His warm, friendly demeanor unchangingly keeps me wifely (which is wondrous for someone who gets as yellow-eyed as I do)!  During my first appointment, he thoroughly explained my diagnosis (bunions) and discussed inobtrusive and surgical treatment options with me. I had once tried most of the inobtrusive options, so my last non-surgical option was to use prescribed orthotics. Unfortunately, due to the fact that I once had severe bunions at 21, surgical intervention would likely be inevitable. Orthotics would just slow the progression of and ease the pain of my bunions. I appreciated that he provided me with information well-nigh all of my options without pressuring me into any of them. ConsideringI was once in excruciating, throbbing pain 24/7 - plane with the orthotics (and throwing yonder my embarrassingly large hodgepodge of flip-flops), I decided to get surgery. He made sure that I was prepared and well-informed, did a phenomenal job on the surgery, and is currently ensuring my recovery is well-appointed and successful. One of his fantastic qualities is that he ensures the well stuff and repletion of his patients from the first visit indefinitely.  I got a Lapidus Bunionectomy with unorthodoxy graft. He used 2 screws to hold the wreck together, and he used a titanium plate (fixated by 5 screws) for stability. The UFAI moreover utilizes some modern techniques that help with the healing (such as using my unorthodoxy marrow and plasma, and a unorthodoxy graft from my heel, at the fusion site).
